Tandori Salmon Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh Salmon portions or frozen Salmon portions (defrosted) cut into cubes
  • Small pot Plain Yoghurt(150g)
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • Good pinch Chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt

Method/Instructions

  1. Mix together plain yogurt, squeeze of lemon juice, garlic, cumin powder, crushed chilli flakes, turmeric, garam masala and a good pinch of salt - adjust the amount of flavouring to your own taste.
  2. Place fish in a plastic bag and add the yogurt mix. Mix and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Skewer the pieces of fish onto soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Cook at 200°C/Gas Mark 6 for 10 minutes until cooked through or cook under hot grill turning occasionally until the fish is cooked through.

 

Serving suggestion - Serve with rice mixed with chopped coriander with mango chutney on the side
