If you've not tried catfish before, prepare to be surprised by its full flavour and firm, oily flesh.

Supplied as large skin on fillets that may require portioning; some bones may remain. Also know as wolffish and rockfish.

Available: Best February to July, but usually all year round. Alternative cod, haddock

Serving: 1-3 fillets per Kg

Use by (fresh): 2-3 days @ 5°C

Use by (frozen): Upto 3 months

Serving Suggestion:
Delicious cut into strips, coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried for 4-5 minutes.
