Succulent roeless North Atlantic scallops. No waste just delicious nuggets of lushious tender scallop meat.

This raw roeless North Atlantic scallop has white or creamy white meat and a firm texture on cooking with a fresh 'shellfish' flavour reminiscent of crab/prawn. No waste and no preparation necessary although the scallops can be sliced into discs if required - it is recommended that this is done before the product is fully defrosted. Once defrosted they should be cooked quickly to ensure the product retains its succulent flavour and texture.

Ingredients:
IQF raw roeless scallops U/20 (count per pound) with 30% glaze and maximum 5% drip loss. Average count per pack 25-35 but can vary.

Serving Suggestion:
Cook from defrost - defrost for approximately 5 hours or overnight in a refrigerator. Can be fried, grilled, steamed or stir fryed. To fry, cook for approximately 3 minutes each side. Gril for 3 minutes each side under a pre-heated moderate grill or steam for around 7 minutes or until fully cooked. Take care not to overcook as they will toughen.
