Great value, large, raw, fresh-water prawns approximately 2-3 inches in length. There is a natural colour varation and the shell can appear orange, blue/green or grey in the raw state - the shells and meat will turn pink on cooking. These prawns come with a protective ice glaze giving them a total net drained weight of approximately 500g. Supplied frozen and headless with body shells that have been cut down the centre to remove the vein.

Serving Suggestions
Defrost and use in recipe dishes. Try a marinade of coconut milk, chopped chilli and garlic. Thread the prawns onto skewers with chopped vegetables such as onion, peppers and mushrooms before BBQ'ing or grilling for 6-8 mnutes.
