Salmon Goujons (Great Recipe for Kids to Make)
Ingredients:
- 454g Regal Salmon Fillets, skinned and boned
- 125g Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)
- 50g Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 25g Plain Flour
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
Method:

Wash the salmon fillets, dry on absorbent paper and cut into 3 inch strips. Mix the breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper and cheddar cheese.

Toss the salmon strips into the flour, dip into the beaten egg and then toss into the breadcrumb mixture.

Put one tablespoon of the olive oil into a non-stick frying pan and gently place the goujons into the pan. Fry gently until golden brown, for about 2 minutes on each side.
Serves 4
If you have little helpers we recommend they only participate in steps 1-2 and prepare for a little bit (or a lot bit) of a mess!
