Curried Salmon Steaks
Ingredients:
- 4 x Regal Salmon Steaks, fresh or defrosted
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Pot Sour Cream
- 8 tbsp Butter
- Flour
- Salt and Pepper
- Curry Powder
Method:
1) In a large pan, fry the onions in 4 tbsps of the butter until soft.
2) Remove onions and set aside. Melt remaining butter in the skillet.
3) Sprinkle the salmon with flour, salt, pepper and a generous amount of curry powder. Fry the fish on both sides for 3-4 minutes. Remove to a warm serving platter.
4) Return onions to skillet. Add 1 tbsp of curry powder and mix well. Gradually stir in the sour cream and heat through.
5) Pour sauce over steaks and serve immediately with a crisp green salad.
