Tuna Loin Salad
Ingredients:
Marinade:
- 2 x Regal Tuna Steaks, fresh or defrosted
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Black Pepper
- Minced Garlic to taste
- Salad Leaves
- 1 Red Onion, chopped finely
- Handful New Potatoes, cooked
Method:
- Whisk together the marinade and place the loin steak in with the marinade.
- Store in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Prepare a green leaf salad with the new potatoes.
- Drain tuna from marinade and retain
- Put tuna on a griddle pan or pan fry for 2-3 minutes on each side
- Put chopped onions in the saucepan and cook in the marinade till lightly golden. Pour over salad straight from the pan and serve with the tuna steaks.
