Taste of China - Aromatic Tuna
Ingredients:
Sauce:
- 1 Red Onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger Puree
- 1 tsp Lemongrass Puree
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 100ml Water
Method:
- Heat the oil in a wok and fry the onion over a medium heat for 2 minutes, add the pepper and fry for a further 3 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic and lemongrass and fry for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the sugar, water, vinegar and tomatoes and simmer gently.
- Meanwhile, cook the tuna under a medium grill for 3-4 minutes each side.
- Serve the tuna with boiled rice with the sauce spooned over.
