Smoked Salmon and Ginger Spring Rolls with Soy Sauce
Ingredients:
- 227g Regal Smoked Salmon - diced
- 4 sheets of Filo Pastry
- Melted Butter
- Fresh Coriander, chopped
- 55g Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 85g fresh Ginger, finely grated
- 1 pinch Five-Spice Powder
- Salad Leaves for garnish
- Soy Sauce to serve
Method:
- Gently cook the chopped onion in a little oil until soft and allow to cool.
- In a bowl combine the salmon, chopped coriander, cooked onion, mayonnaise, ginger and five-spice powder -this makes the filling.
- Cut each sheet of filo pastry in half and brush with melted butter.
- Divide the filling into approximately 8 portions and place one portion on each piece of filo pastry.
- Fold in the edges of the filo pastry over the filling and roll up into a cigar shape.
- Bake for 2-3 minutes in a preheated oven at 220°C/425°F/Gas mark 7.
- Serve with a salad garnish and soya sauce for dipping.
